About

The goal of this Experimental Pharmacology and Therapeutics programme from the University College London (UCL) is to teach advanced experimental approaches in pharmacology, a science that has seen theoretical development for over a century at UCL.

Overview

About this Degree

The Experimental Pharmacology and Therapeutics programme from the University College London (UCL) aims to attract graduates with a good degree in the Life Sciences, Pharmaceutics, Biotechnology or Pharmacy, with an interest in pharmacological approaches, theory and practice of drug-receptor interactions, and methodologies employed in the identification and evaluation of potential drug targets.

The MSc Experimental Pharmacology and Therapeutics is a joint programme between two academic groups with outstanding teaching and research profiles in the field of pharmacology; the Department of Neuroscience, Physiology and Pharmacology (Division of Biosciences) and the Department of Pharmacology (School of Pharmacy).

Both the collaborating departments are historically and currently internationally leading in this field, and together they promise to teach theory, research practice and innovation in pharmacology in a most consummate manner.
