Overview
The Agricultural and Food Economics program at University of Bonn equips students with the necessary skills and knowledge to analyse and further develop economic activities. This includes examining associated politics from the forklift to the final food product, i.e. along the entire food value chain from farming to processing, sale and consumption. The curriculum stipulates active learning through participation in research projects. Examination regulations (legally binding information)
- University degree (German and non-German) in a relevant discipline
- English language proficiency (CEFR level B2)
- Minimum grade of 2.5 or local equivalent
- A minimum of 42 ECTS credits in modules focusing on economics, incl. bachelor’s thesis
- Applicants from outside Germany or another EU country must pass the aptitude test for university studies
