Key Features

The Psychological Sciences Department offers a master's (M.A.) degree with an emphasis in Behavioral Neuroscience (BN). In your personal statement, it is important that you indicate the faculty member(s) with whom you would like to work. The research interests of the core faculty may be found on the Faculty page.

Courses are offered only during the day. Thus, students of the Behavioral Neuroscience program from University of Missouri–St. Louis are full-time as they earn the 32 credit hours required for the degree. The coursework provides the background and training in BN to qualify for a job in the field or to apply for additional graduate work toward the Ph.D. or another professional degree. An empirical M.A. research thesis is also required.

Official transcripts - Students in their final year of a bachelor's program should submit transcripts for all semesters completed thus far. Students who have already completed a degree must submit final transcripts and degree certificates.
