  • Applicants are considered on an individual basis. 
  • For programs leading to Illinois licensure, passing scores on the Illinois Test of Academic Proficiency (TAP). Contact the Council on Teacher Education for more information on which tests ISBE allows to be substituted for the TAP.
  • Letters of Recommendation.
  • A 3–4 page statement of professional goals addressing the applicant’s relevant background and experience.
