IELTS admission requirements IELTS The International English Language Test System (IELTS) tests your English-language proficiency on a scale of 1 – 9. The score refers to the combined average score of 4 subjects (writing, listening, speaking, and reading).

General requirements

  • Completion of a bachelor's or higher degree in nutrition, dietetics or closely related field from a regionally accredited college/university.
  • Students must have a grade of "C" or better in undergraduate courses in advanced nutrition or biochemistry, human physiology and statistics. Recency of courses will be evaluated.
  • A cumulative Grade Point Average (GPA) of at least 3.0 for all undergraduate work and a GPA of at least 3.0 for the junior and senior years of undergraduate work (based on A=4.0).
  • Meet minimum requirements for admission set by the School of Graduate Studies, including English proficiency requirements.
