Overview
The curriculum is a combination of architecture, engineering and business courses.
At Bowling Green State University, the Department of Construction Management is part of The School of the Built Environment which also includes the Department of Architecture and Environmental Design, providing interdisciplinary collaboration and synergistic interaction between the two fields.
Students can also earn a Master of Technology Management degree in construction management that offers a broad competency in construction management, business operations and problem solving.

- Students are exposed to a blend of course work and real-life experience including academic work in the classroom, application of concepts in laboratory workshops and cooperative education experiences.
- BGSU’s construction management program is one of only two programs in Ohio and 62 nationwide accredited by the prestigious American Council for Construction Education (ACCE).

Curriculum
- The curriculum is designed to expose students to blueprint reading, building material properties, structural analysis, computer applications, cost estimating, scheduling, surveying, safety, contracts, problem solving, networking, communications, management and leadership skills.
- Construction management students are required to complete three co-op experiences with construction firms and have numerous opportunities to learn from and interact with the construction industry.
