Discrete mathematical structures with an emphasis on logic, proof and mathematical reasoning;
Probability and statistics with an introduction to combinatorics;
History of elementary number theory, algebra and geometry;
Topics in abstract algebra that relate to high school courses in algebra, geometry and trigonometry;
Differential equations and advanced linear algebra; and
Topics in real analysis with an emphasis on improving calculus instruction.

The Mathematics for Teaching program from DePaul University meets on DePaul’s Lincoln Park Campus and can be completed in as few as 27 months. A bachelor’s degree in mathematics is not required for admission into this program.
