  • Letter of Intent
  • 10-30 page Writing Sample
  • A completed Graduate Application form
  • Application fee: $25 paid online with your application.
  • Three letters of recommendation from faculty or other professionals who can assess your qualifications for graduate work in creative writing.
  • Official transcripts of all undergraduate and graduate work from each institution attended, including any transcripts from MUW
  • Proof of Immunization
  • A baccalaureate degree from an accredited four-year institution
  • A minimum 3.0 quality point average in the proposed area of study
  • English Exam Scores: TOEFL 550 (paper-based), 213 (computer-based), or 79 (internet-based); IELTS 6.0; or PTE 53
  • Letter of financial backing with supporting documentation
  • Agreement to purchase or show health insurance coverage.
