UNA offers the Educational Specialist with Alabama Class AA Teacher Leader certification. The Teacher Leader program focuses on developing teachers to guide their colleagues in curriculum development and instructional delivery.
It does not prepare teachers to become licensed administrators. The program content is consistent with state and national standards.

- Application Fee: A non-refundable application fee of one hundred dollars ($100) is required of every international applicant.
Academic Placement: For US students, UNA uses ACT or SAT scores for advising and registration purposes, but international students are not required to submit any of these tests for admissions.
