The Humanities graduate program from University of Dallas is flexible and encourages careful reading. Design your own personalized curriculum around a core of three special courses devoted to the reading of seminal works of western thought. To this core, add courses according to your interests, either in one or two concentrations, or in one or two historical periods for a deep and broad educational foundation.

Several courses can be completed online.

Two letters of recommendation - your recommender's contact information will be collected during the online application process. Each recommender will receive an email from UD requesting that they upload their letter of recommendation through a secure application portal.
A statement of purpose (max. 750 words)
An intellectual autobiography (max. 750 words)
A sample of academic writing (max. 6,000 words)
Official transcripts sent directly to the Graduate Admissions Office from each college or university attended by the applicant (even if no credit or degree was earned)
General GRE test scores (from within the last five years)
