The Innovation and Entrepreneurship programme at Vlerick Business School teaches you how to identify and manage new business opportunities. It’s the gateway to a career as an innovative leader in any kind of company- a large consultancy firm, a multinational, or your own business. During the disruption tour to Silicon Valley you'll get the chance to visit innovative companies, investors and incubators.

This programme takes place in Leuven, one of Belgium’s most vibrant university towns and a high-tech hotspot in Europe. Our partner University (KU Leuven) is considered the second most innovative European university, behind Imperial College London, in a 2015 ranking by press agency Reuters. English Language Requirements

You only need to take one of these language tests:

    C1 Advanced is a Cambridge English Qualification. It reports on the Cambridge English Scale between 142 and 210. You will receive a separate score for each of the four skills (reading, writing, listening and speaking) and for Use of English. These five scores are averaged to give you an overall result for the exam. Universities and colleges may ask you to achieve a specific score, either overall or for a particular skill.

    Note: degree programmes and applications may require a more specific minimum score for admission.

Academic Requirements

  • You need the following GMAT score:

    Required score: 600

    The GMAT - or Graduate Management Admission Test - is a frequent requirement for admission at management and business schools across the world. The GMAT score ranges between 200 and 800 and measures the verbal and quantitative reasoning of test-takers.

Degree requirements

All candidates for the Master programmes should fulfill one of the below requirements:

  • a university (academic) degree of at least 4 years of study from an institution that is recognized by the relevant authorities.
  • a 3-year academic degree and at least one year of full-time work experience
  • a 3-year academic degree and an additional 1-year degree (minimum 60 ECTS credits).
  • a 4-year professional degree and a GMAT (minimum result 600). Examples are degrees from Universities of Applied Sciences, e.g. HBO in The Netherlands or Fachhochschule in Germany.

Admissions Test

VBS organise the VBAT on a monthly basis on our campuses in Belgium and also in a number of other countries. The location of the VBAT has no link with the location of your Masters programme. You can apply for all Masters on any location.

When you apply through the VBAT you’ll take an analytical test and a face-to-face interview on the same day.

The analytical test is a computer based, multiple choice test. It assesses whether you can quickly read and interpret business data. It’ll take you 20 minutes.If you take the VBAT abroad, you will be invited to a Skype interview.

We offer a number of partial scholarships, based on academic excellence or outstanding profiles :

    • GMAT/GRE Excellence, with a minimum GMAT of 700 or GRE 164 quantitative & 163 verbal
    • Academic Merit, for students with study results equal to great distinction or higher
