Overview
Program Description
During the first year of the Statistics program at North Dakota State University, master's and doctoral students are strongly encouraged to meet with each faculty member to discuss possible research topics. The student should select an advisory and examining committee by the end of the first year.
A joint master's degree in computer science and statistics may also be obtained. Graduate certificates in Statistics for non-majors and Big Data Applied Statistics Analysis are also available.

- Have had at least one course in statistics, and
- Have had at least one programming language

- A statement of purpose is required for admission consideration and must be uploaded to your online application
- Three (3) letters of recommendation
- Submitting your transcripts (statement of marks)
- All graduate applicants, regardless of citizenship or residency, must demonstrate proficiency with the English language before they will be considered for admission to a graduate program
