Societal Challenges in Economics: You will explore the major global issues shaping today’s business environment, from inequality to digital transformation and the changing role of public policy.
Multinationals: Institutions, Market and Power: You will examine how multinational enterprises operate within, adapt to, and shape the complex landscape of global markets, institutions, and governance.

Multinational Corporations and Sustainability: You will learn how international firms address sustainability imperatives such as responsible supply chain governance.

With a strong analytical attitude, empirical skills and broad knowledge of the field, alumni are well prepared for a career as:

Consultant for or at internationally operating firms
Policy maker at (supra)-national governmental agencies

Research

Research within this specialisation explores how international businesses can create sustainable value in a global context. Our staff and students study real-world challenges at the intersection of business, economics, and society. Examples of recent research questions include:

What is the impact of home-country labour regulations on CSR policies and global labour violations in multinationals?
How do organisations address paradoxes in leveraging digitalisation for sustainability?

Programme Structure

The Master’s specialisation in International Business is taught at Nijmegen School of Management. It has a course load of 60 EC (one-year). All the courses are 6 EC and the Master’s thesis is 18 EC.

Dual degree with University of Glasgow

Do you want to reinforce your credibility and knowledge in International Business? Are you interested in a year abroad? In that case, the Dual Degree Programme with the Adam Smith Business School - University of Glasgow might be something for you! Upon completion of the programme, you will receive a Master of Science (MSc) in Business Administration with a specialisation in International Business from Radboud University and a Master of Science (MSc) in Economic Development from the University of Glasgow. This programme consists of a total of 150 EC credits. The Master's Thesis within the dual degree programme is a joint thesis and will be coordinated by both universities.
