- Prospective applicants to Curtin’s Master of Dietetics need an undergraduate degree that meets Dietitians Australia’s requirements.
- Dietitians Australia requires that human sciences underpin the application of science in nutrition and dietetic practice. To meet these criteria, 50% of the first year of undergraduate study must be composed of introductory bioscience (examples include chemistry, biology, introductory physiology).
- Prospective applicants also need to have completed two units of biochemistry, two units of human physiology, and four units of nutrition at second- and third-year level.
- Eligible applicants must also submit a personal statement. External applicants must arrange for two academic referee reports to be submitted to the Course Coordinator.
