Prospective applicants to Curtin’s Master of Dietetics need an undergraduate degree that meets Dietitians Australia’s requirements.

Dietitians Australia requires that human sciences underpin the application of science in nutrition and dietetic practice. To meet these criteria, 50% of the first year of undergraduate study must be composed of introductory bioscience (examples include chemistry, biology, introductory physiology).

Prospective applicants also need to have completed two units of biochemistry, two units of human physiology, and four units of nutrition at second- and third-year level.

Eligible applicants must also submit a personal statement. External applicants must arrange for two academic referee reports to be submitted to the Course Coordinator.
