Description
The School of Biological Sciences is offering bursaries for applicants studying eligible masters programmes.
Applicable programmes
Benefits
They are offering up to two bursaries for full time students that will cover all tuition fees.
For most of their programmes, these are £19,100 for UK students and £40,900 for International students (but check the degree finder here for specific information on fees). These awards are intended to allow highly skilled and motivated applicants to study here who might otherwise not be able to afford the opportunity.
Eligibility
- You can only apply for the bursaries once you have received an offer (conditional or unconditional) to join one of the eligible programmes and have either firmly accepted the offer or be intending to do so.
- The bursary selection panel can only consider your application if you hold an active offer throughout your bursary application process (meaning if your offer is declined at any point up until the bursary decision deadline you will no longer be eligible).
- You can request an extension to your deposit payment deadline based on awaiting the outcome of this Bursary application.
- Other eligibility requirements depend upon if you would pay UK or international fees.
You will not be eligible for this bursary if:
- you are fully sponsored by your employer;
- you are already in receipt of a full bursary; or
- you already hold or will hold a master’s degree or PhD qualification.
