The Jacqueline Helen Perry Memorial Award will be granted to a medical student in fourth year (at convocation).

Eligibility

The student must meet the following criteria:

  • Has documented financial need. This is the major criterion for this award. Preference is to be given to students experiencing economic hardship.
  • Has an interest in rural medicine.
  • Demonstrates humanitarianism and compassion for his or her interactions with patients and families.
  • May be interested in emergency medicine and/or international health.
