Description
Founded in 2001, this is the University of Nottingham’s flagship Master’s scholarship for students from Africa, India, South Asia and selected Commonwealth countries. It supports innovative and passionate students who can demonstrate a tangible plan for creating positive change in their home country.
Benefits
Tuition fee scholarships of 50% or 100% for innovative and passionate students who can propose development solutions for their home countries within African, South Asian, and selected Commonwealth countries.
Eligibility
To apply for this scholarship, you must:
- be domiciled in Africa, India or one of the selected Commonwealth countries listed below
- be classed as an overseas student for fee purposes
- hold an offer to start a full-time masters (including MRes) course at the University of Nottingham UK, studying in the Faculty of Engineering, Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, Faculty of Science or Faculty of Social Sciences.

Applicants must first apply for and receive an offer for an eligible full-time Master’s or MRes programme. After receiving an offer, Master’s applicants must submit a separate scholarship application through the scholarships section of NottinghamHub.
