Description

The Garden Scholarship is open to Postgraduate Certificate (PgCert) in Surgical Writing and Evidence Based Practice applicants or students currently enrolled on the Postgraduate Professional Development (PgProfDev) Surgical Writing and Evidence Based Practice programme.

Benefits

The Scholarship will cover full tuition fees towards the Postgraduate Certificate in Surgical Writing and Evidence Based Practice. The maximum scholarship award available for 2026/2027 entry is £5,070. 

Eligibility

The Garden Scholarship will be awarded to applicants who are either:

  • Accepted for admission to the PgCert Surgical Writing and Evidence Based Practice (online learning) programme in the 2026-2027 academic year. Applicants should already have been offered a place at the University of Edinburgh and should have firmly accepted that offer or be intending to do so. Preference will be given to those who have an unconditional offer at time of the scholarship application deadline, or,
  • Currently enrolled on the PgProfDev Surgical Writing and Evidence Based Practice (online learning) programme and wish to complete the PG Certificate.
