Description

This award is open to all applicants who have applied to a taught LLM or MSc programme starting in the academic year at Edinburgh Law School.

Benefits

The scholarships are worth £5,000 and will be applied towards the cost of tuition fees.

Eligibility

  • All applicants who are accepted for admission to any taught LLM or MSc programmes offered by the School (including Online Learning programmes) starting in the 2026-2027 academic year.

The award will be made on the basis of academic merit and the strength of a personal statement. Within your personal statement please include:

  • the specific elements of the LLM or MSc programme that attracted you to the University of Edinburgh and why these are meaningful to you; and
  • explain how successful completion of this programme will benefit your career, personal development and / or enable you to contribute to your community/region or country?

Priority will be given to those who have not had the opportunity to study at masters level previously.

Applicants should already have been offered a place at the University of Edinburgh and should have firmly accepted that offer or be intending to do so.
