Description
The fund is intended for international students facing unexpected financial difficulties, particularly those who have applied to the UK Home Office for leave to remain or an extension of their right to stay. Support is available for basic living costs such as food, rent and utilities.

Eligibility
To be eligible, students must:
- have applied to the Home Office for a form of leave or extension of right to stay in the UK ie Ukraine Extension Scheme, asylum seekers, students with limited leave to remain, etc.
- be registered and attending an RGU course.
- have exhausted all other possible sources of funding available to them.
- be able to prove they are in financial difficulty.

Application deadline
Applicants must submit the International Students Emergency Fund application together with supporting evidence to the University.
Incomplete applications that do not include all required supporting documentation will be rejected and cannot be considered. Applications can take up to 4–6 weeks to be reviewed.
