Description
The scholarship is inspired by Article 26 of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, which states that everyone has the right to education. It aims to remove financial barriers for asylum seekers and other forced migrants who are unable to access UK student finance due to their immigration status.
Benefits
Full tuition fee waiver for the duration of the course (up to 4 years).
£1,200 per year towards living costs.
£250 per year towards course-related costs (credited to the Keele Card).
Personal support throughout the degree programme.
Eligibility
Applicants must:
- Hold an offer for an eligible course at Keele University.
- Meet all academic and English language entry requirements.
- Be unable to access UK government student finance because of their immigration status.
- Fall into an eligible immigration category (e.g. asylum seeker, humanitarian protection, limited leave to remain, or certain dependants/partners).
- Be applying for an eligible full-time undergraduate degree.
