Description
The Hardship Fund is designed to help students who encounter unforeseen financial problems that could affect their ability to continue studying.
Each application is assessed individually, taking into account the student's income, expenditure, original funding plan, and the unexpected circumstances leading to financial hardship.
The fund is available only to currently enrolled Falmouth University students and cannot be applied for before enrolment.

Eligibility
Applicants must:
- Be a fully enrolled student at Falmouth University.
Be studying:
- on-campus at Falmouth or Penryn, or
- as a fully enrolled online student.
- Be experiencing unforeseen financial hardship during the academic year.
Demonstrate financial need through an assessment of:
- income and expenditure;
- original funding arrangements;
- evidence of the unforeseen circumstances.
Students studying with partner institutions are not eligible and should apply through their host institution instead.
