The Chevening Partner Scholarship Scheme supports outstanding international professionals pursuing selected postgraduate programmes at Bournemouth University. Funded by the UK Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO) and Bournemouth University, the scholarship develops future leaders by providing full financial support for postgraduate study.

Description

The Chevening Partner Scholarship Scheme is available to international applicants enrolling on selected full-time taught postgraduate programmes at Bournemouth University. The scholarship is jointly funded by the UK Government and Bournemouth University and is aimed at applicants with strong academic backgrounds, leadership potential, and at least two years of professional work experience.

Scholars are expected to return to their home country after completing their studies. Eligible programmes include MSc Disaster Management, MBA, MA 3D Computer Animation, MA Multimedia Journalism, MSc Medical Imaging with Management, and MSc Adult Nursing.

Eligibility

  • Must be an international applicant who intends to return to their home country after completing the course.
  • Must apply for one of the eligible postgraduate programmes.
  • Must hold the equivalent of a UK upper second-class honours degree (2:1) or above.
  • Must meet the Chevening English language requirement (or equivalent accepted by Chevening).
  • Must have completed at least two years of work experience before applying.
  • Must satisfy all Chevening eligibility requirements.
