Gwyneth Evans Bursary was made possible by a generous donation to the University by the late Gwyneth Evans.

Benefits

Gwyneth Evans Bursary offers £500 per year of study.

Eligibility

Open to undergraduate students at Aberystwyth University in any subject who:

  • Were either born in Ceredigion or have lived in Ceredigion for the 3 years prior to application
  • And have a taxable household income of £40,000 or below prior to starting University.

In order to assess your application, please provide the following:

A copy of your passport, driving license, birth certificate;or proof of address in Ceredigion for the last 3 years;

Copies of P60s for those in your household who are employed under the PAYE system for the 2023 tax year (April 2024-April 2025);

Copies of Self-Assessment tax returns (April 2024-April 2025) for those in your household who are registered self-employed;

Copies of any state benefits such as Universal Credit or Job Seekers Allowance that members of your household receive (please provide your most recent letter and a letter dated 6 months earlier).

Please submit your application, including evidence of the above via email (can be found on their website) for consideration.
