The Accounting course offered by Aberystwyth University's members of staff are always happy to discuss possible PhD and MPhil research programmes in Accounting with suitably qualified graduates.

Key Facts

Similar to a PhD, you will have the opportunity to pursue an area of interest under the guidance of a supervisor, and you will still be required to defend your thesis in a viva voce exam; however, an MPhil involves conducting less in-depth analysis than a PhD does.

Your research will be guided by a supervisory team, who will help you refine your research proposal, and guide you in data collection and analysis. At the end of your studies, you will have a viva voce exam (a verbal defence of your thesis).
