Description
The Scholarship for the most promising self-funded freshmen is awarded to students who have applied for a BSc programme by 15 March, for MSc programme by 20 August for the cross semester admission procedure, by 15 March for the general admission procedure, have paid their application fee and uploaded the complete application documentation (in case of BSc, proof of language or graduation application), have obtained at least 60 out of the maximum 100 points in the admission procedure and have started their studies in the semester following their admission, according to the prescribed curriculum included in their programme’s Student Handbook.
Benefits
The scholarship offers:
20% of the first semester’s tuition fee.
50% for the student with the highest admission score in each program.
In case of ties, ranking is determined by academic score, entrance exam/motivation interview, and motivation letter. If all criteria are equal, all tied students receive 50%.
Eligibility
- Available only to first-semester self-funded students.
- Cannot be combined with other scholarship programs (e.g., Stipendium Hungaricum or Springboard Scholarship).
- Must have applied by the deadline and paid the application fee.
- Minimum of 60 out of 100 admission points.
- Enrollment in the semester following admission as per the Student Handbook.
- Complete application documentation submitted.
