Description
Each year, the School of Medicine and Psychology within the ANU College of Science and Medicine may offer an award known as the John James Foundation Scholarship.
The objective of the Award is to assist Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander students to undertake the Doctor of Medicine and Surgery program at the Australian National University ('ANU').
Benefits
The duration of the award is up to 4 years. The award is paid in equal instalments at the beginning of each semester unless otherwise stated in the letter of offer.
Eligibility
The Award is available each year to a commencing or continuing ANU student who:
- is an Australian citizen; and
- is of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander descent; and
- identifies as an Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander person; and
- is accepted as such by the community in which they live, or formerly lived; and
- has been offered a place or is enrolled in the Doctor of Medicine and Surgery (8950XMCHD) program at ANU.
