Founded in in 1881 by the Paris Chamber of Commerce and Industry, HEC Paris is one of the oldest and most prestigious Business Schools in both France and Europe.

Hello everyone, HEC Paris is an exceptional institution that provides a world-class education and an enriching experience for students from around the globe. Very satisfied with teaching style
I chose HEC Paris for its strong sense of community. While other colleges offered identical academic degrees, HEC Paris' pleasant culture and helpful environment really spoke to me. The tough courses, competent professors, and extensive career preparation have given me a well-rounded educational experience. I would not exchange my experience at HEC Paris for anything. Given their commitment and energy, I believe they are eager to learn and engage in class. I am confident that my time at HEC Paris will prepare me for a great future, and I am pleased to be a part of it.

One of the topics I'd want to discuss the most is our teachers' desire to go above and beyond to assist us achieve. Housing services
The 340-acre wooded campus is not only close to Paris and Versailles by train, but also a short drive from La Défense, the biggest business district in Europe where many multinational companies have set up headquarters.
Library services
- HEC Paris has become only the second education institution in France to open its state-of-the-art library seven days a week, 24 hours a day.
- It provides readers both on and off campus access to over 80 databases covering all the disciplines taught at HEC as well as 10,000 different journals, magazines and academic reviews in digital format.
ICT services
HEC Paris provides a wide range of information technology and communication services to support you throughout your time on campus:
- Unlimited Wi-Fi via eduroam (education roaming), available anywhere on campus

Campus life
HEC Paris has one of the largest campuses in Europe. Its academic, leisure and sports facilities offer students and staff the holistic lifestyle you would expect from a world-class institution. The school also provides a perfect balance between the rural and urban worlds. The HEC Paris campus is located in Jouy-en-Josas, 20 km (15 miles) outside of Paris and provides a perfect balance between the rural and urban worlds.
The campus is very green; its well-kept lanes and lake allow for scenic walks. Don’t be surprised to see a dear when you go out to get some air to think through a difficult research problem. It is the best way to gain an alternative perspective!
Sports facilities
HEC Paris has excellent indoor and outdoor facilities on campus. These include:
- a multipurpose gym (1600 m²), an indoor mountain climbing wall, a weight training room, a fitness/cardio-training room and facilities for aerobics, boxing and martial arts
- 10,000 m² of outdoor fields including tennis courts, an athletics track, three grass rugby/football fields, one all-weather football field, and one street basketball/football court.
A permanent staff of four qualified professionals and 25 coaches manage the Sports Department. Each sports discipline has its own club, run by students in collaboration with the Sports Department.
Student clubs
HEC Paris considers community life to be one of the cornerstones of the education it provides. It develops a sense of responsibility, boldness and entrepreneurship. Becoming a member of one or more clubs or associations is the best way to meet people, share ideas and ideals, have fun, take up a new hobby and become an integrated member of the HEC Paris community.
