- 1957: INSEAD is founded. The Paris Chamber of Commerce agreed to establish a European business school

Housing services
Europe campus
- INSEAD has two on-campus residences available for short term stays. These are available to participants of short programmes, conferences or seminars.
Asia campus
- The Residences has 133 rooms designed to fit the needs of our Executive Education participants as well as visiting staff and faculty.
Middle East campus
- The INSEAD Middle East Campus in Abu Dhabi does not offer on-site accommodation. Abu Dhabi is fortunate to have an extensive choice of hotels in a wide range of price categories.
Library services
- The Georges and Edna Doriot Library contains over 50,000 books and eBooks covering all aspects of business and related social sciences. It also gives access to dozens of online databases and several thousand electronic journals.
- The Tanoto Library at Asia Campus supports INSEAD faculty, visiting professors, research staff, and degree participants in their research and curriculum activities.
Campus life
INSEAD Europe Campus is located on the edge of the Forest of Fontainebleau and just a stone's throw away from the town centre. It lies within easy reach of all major airports and rail systems connecting Paris with the rest of the world.
INSEAD Asia Campus is situated at the corner of the Ayer Rajah Avenue and North Buona Vista Road in the Knowledge Hub district of Singapore. The school’s convenient location is 15 minutes from the financial district and 30 minutes from Changi Airport.
Drawing on over 50 years of experience at the leading edge of business education and research in Europe and Asia, in 2007 INSEAD strengthened its presence in the Middle East with a campus in Abu Dhabi.Sports facilities
Europe campus
- Keep in shape at INSEAD's Fitness Centre! Take your pick from squash court, machine work-out room, group fitness classes, personal programmes, sauna and hammam amongst other offerings.Group fitness classes include Body toning, African dance, Cardio step, Zen gym and Low-impact aerobics.
Asia campus
- The campus has a fully equipped Fitness Centre accessible from 5.30am to 11.00pm from Mondays through Fridays and 6.00am to 8.00pm on Saturdays and Sundays. Equipped with high-end cardiovascular and strength equipment, the Centre also offers a variety of fitness classes throughout the week.
Student clubs
INSEAD has 48 associations in total.
INSEAD MBA Student clubs are run by students and supported by the school. They play an important role in the student life, and solidify the MBA experience. Campus activities are organised by MBA student clubs and help to sharpen your leadership skills and enable you to explore and pursue new interests or old passions by becoming a member.
INSEAD has received accreditation from AACSB International (The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business, based in the US), from AMBA (The Association of Masters in Business Administration) and reaccreditation from EQUIS (the accreditation arm of the European Foundation for Management Development - EFMD).
