Our Digital Studio on the first floor accommodates ten Mac workstations, Sony SD/HDV digitisations and HD monitoring, and is used as our primary instruction facility for post-production software.
Campus life
The Jarman Building also contains the Studio 3 Gallery, our dedicated exhibition space. Since its opening, Studio has played host to a series of major exhibitions that are open to the public plus annual student shows.
The Department is based on the Canterbury campus, where we have five licensed performance studios (the two large Jarman studios with semi-sprung floors; the large and flexible Lumley Studio; the 113 seat Aphra Theatre, a courtyard studio theatre; and The Forrest Studio, a black box space), a fully equipped construction workshop, the Drama Simulation Studio for both sound and lighting, and an extensively equipped 1000msq construction workshop including Design Suite.
