History
1989: First Teaching at WFI - The WFI is inaugurated with an official ceremony and a pontificate service. At the same time, lectures begin at the newly established faculty of the Catholic University of Eichstätt.
Education
At WFI, "business and economics oriented toward people" is at the center of our activities. Our students are our greatest asset, and our activities are designed to develop their potential to the fullest. We promote their development to become responsible individuals with a global mindset so that they can have a meaningful and lasting impact on business and society. Through our excellence in knowledge creation and transfer we provide creative insights and solutions for sustainable and ethically responsible action in companies, the economy and society. Our tight-knit community of faculty, students, and alumni embody and share this WFI Spirit nationally and internationally.
Career
Global leaders, DAX companies and start-ups are all part of our partner companies and provide internship and permanent positions for our students. By means of our close cooperation with partner companies numerous possibilities open up for our students and teachers to put the theoretical knowledge and research outcomes into practice. Career fairs on campus as well as company presentations and workshops offer best opportunities for networking. In addition, many students write their thesis in cooperation with external companies. Our courses are very application-oriented and enable our students to gather experience with and in companies.

To make sure that our international students feel comfortable after their arrival and during their stay, our Welcome Teams organize field trips and events and a Buddy Program, so that every international student has a KU student at his or her side to support them in everyday life.
Housing services
The International Office supports you finding accommodation and offers a free Housing Service.
You can register for our Housing Service as part of your online application. Afterwards you will receive a housing offer from us – if possible taking into account your preferences.
Accommodation arranged by us usually has to be rented for a whole semester (6 months) or for a whole academic year (12 months) – depending on how long you study with us. Shorter rental periods are rarely possible.
Library services
All locations of the University Library offer you a calm, concentrated learning environment. You can research literature and work with it at classic library workstations in the reading rooms. PC workstations provide access to our digital media such as databases, electronic journals or e-books.
ICT services
A KU e-mail address for each student and member of staff, wireless internet access on campus, computer work stations in eight PC pools, a cloud for storing files on the KU’s servers, free software – all this and more is provided by the KU’s Data Center.
Medical services
Just as for studying at any other university in Germany, a prerequisite for enrolment at the KU is a valid health insurance. EU citizens are usually insured through the health insurance in their home country, but this often only includes emergency treatment abroad. Travel insurance is rarely sufficient for enrolment.
Campus life
In addition to the central activities in research and teaching, university life is characterised by a wide range of cultural and social events and offers. Sustainability, family friendliness and commitment are the main characteristics of life at the KU. Do you want to get involved in one of our groups or participate in university sports? Would you like to sing in one of the choirs or join one of the ensembles and bands, or do you enjoy theatre? Here you will find everything about university life at KU.
Sports facilities
Regular exercise helps prevent disease and improves physical fitness and well-being. The area around Eichstätt is great for outdoor activities, but the KU’s Sports Center also offers plenty of opportunities to get active with over 120 sports and fitness courses – from A for aerobics to Z for zumba.
Accreditation
WFI – Ingolstadt School of Management is a member of „AACSB International—The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business“
