Johor Bahru, also known as JB, is the southernmost city in Malaysia and also the capital of Johor. It is the 2nd largest city in Malaysia with more than 2.7 million inhabitants. There’s never a dull moment living in JB. There are many places to explore and to enjoy your meals. People can also enjoy the convenience of public transport while travelling around JB. Southern University College is home to 50 student societies, which can be grouped into the following categories: Student Union and Academic Societies, Sports Societies, Performance Societies, Religious and Charity Societies, Language Societies, and others. The activities of the societies provide students with ample opportunities to interact with each others and develop their interpersonal communication skills. By encouraging cooperation between students and the community, students will practice and realise the noble idea of “Paying Back to the Society”.
