Acıbadem University was founded in 2007 in Istanbul, Turkey, by Mehmet Ali Aydıner, the founder of the Acıbadem Healthcare Group. The university is a non-profit, private institution dedicated to health sciences, with a strong research focus and state-of-the-art facilities.
By using dynamic and contemporary educational programmes, a strong academic teaching team trains healthcare students to be future healthcare professionals who continually research innovations in all fields of medical science. With the mission of being a strongly research oriented university, the research laboratories are fitted out with the latest state of the art equipment, designed to complement the life sciences and biotechnology fields.
Being one of the main fields of activity of our university, Research Policy is to contribute to scientific progress with researches in the fields of health, life sciences and biotechnology primarily for the benefit of society and to carry out transitional research projects in cooperation with public/private health sector and industrial organizations.
In this context, it is aimed to conduct research on the health and health-related problems of the country, to produce solutions, to transform the inventions that emerge from these researches into products, to conduct competitive, translational and qualified research that will contribute to universal science, and to implement the projects.
