ISEN, a perfect place to learn engineering
ISEN (Institut Supérieur de l'Électronique et du Numérique) is a renowned engineering school in France, specializing in electronics, digital technologies, and innovation. The institution is known for its cutting-edge curriculum, combining theoretical knowledge with hands-on projects to prepare students for the rapidly evolving tech industry. The faculty is highly supportive, offering personalized guidance and fostering a collaborative learning environment. ISEN equips its students with both technical and problem-solving skills, making it an ideal place to pursue studies in engineering and digital technologies. Having resumed my studies at 29 with a limited scientific background, I found the professors to be incredibly helpful and accommodating, which greatly contributed to my success. ISEN’s collaborative environment and dedicated staff make it an ideal place to pursue studies in engineering and digital technologies.

Student services
- Each year, JUNIA welcomes international students coming from all around the world. Arriving in a new country can be stressful.
- This is why we are doing our best to make your stay as easy as possible and help you with your formalities: housing, insurance, visa, bank, health care, etc.
- JUNIA Globe, a student association, supports the international students as much as the International Student Office.
Housing services
We recommend that students book a room in a Lille Catholic University Residence Hall. These residences are managed by an organisation named ALL and are the most convenient way for our students to find housing in Lille.
If you cannot find an accomodation with ALL do not worry, there also:
- Studapart, an all-inclusive online housing platform. This housing service also offers personalised support throughout your rental and exclusive offers for JUNIA students.
- Livinfrance which offers rental accommodations and also assistance for every administrative procedure to help you succeed in your studies in France.
Students are responsible for reserving a room, so be sure to apply as soon as possible.
Library services
- Linked to the campus's main library, BU Vauban, you can find the ISEN Library inside the school, on the last floor. You will be able to find lots of books and magazines linked to all the topics you will study.
- The reading rooms are open to all students and staff from all institutions of the Université Catholique de Lille.
- You can follow @bibliojunia on Instagram for more information.
Medical services
Students can benefit from a health care service at the heart of the campus called CPSU.
You will be able to make an appointment easily with doctors and specialists nearby (and they are a lot), at lower cost.
In France, we also have an app called Doctolib on which you can make see doctors' calendars and make appointments, it is very practical.
Campus life
- In the heart of the student area, the main building on Boulevard Vauban is home to the educational activities of the engineering programme (classrooms, teaching laboratories, amphitheatres etc.) for nearly 1000 students.
- The building is accessible from 7AM to 11PM
- There are 3 000 m2 of laboratories
