Torrens University Australia was founded in 2013 through partnership with some of Australia’s most renowned education providers who share a purpose-driven and passionate approach to teaching, in order to create courses that are designed to place passionate people in careers they love.

Operations Coordinator
My profesional background has been shaped by a strong foundation in operation, risk managment and client engagement. As an Operations Coordinator for Bintan District, I was responsible to develop and implement risk management protocol, coordinate emergency response, and optimise facility operation. In addition, my role as Traffic Management Specialist make me stronger in transport planning and ensuring safety and satisfaction of many stakeholder, which is close with the detail needed in hospitality and tourism operation. My long term involvement in our family agricultural enterprice also enhance my understanding of supply chain, customer relation and sustainable operation areas that I believe very relevant in modern tourism and hospitality sector. My ongoing study in Business Management and Sales at Kingston International Collage has provide me with a structured understanding of leadership, strategy planning and service excelence. Combined with my profesional experience, this give me more holistic perspective on how to manage people, process and service in dynamic enviroment. Overall, my study experince has been very rewarding, and make me more motivate to advance into Hospitality and Tourism Management, where I can apply my operational experties and passion in service to create memorable guest experinces and contribute to the industry sustainable growth.
Friendly university
Pretty good with facilities and teachers. Both being great and the schedule are great but the campus are small though. Although it my second year but I feel the environment pretty decent. Also people are being nice to international students. So nothing should be bothered here. In Melbourne campus, not just only education, it's more than spiritual activities. There are AFL Union basketball teams. Art is also one of the important here. Scenery are just wonderful. Statues all over the place more than you can imagine.

Good uni, student service can be a bit slow through emails. Live chat is pretty responsive, unless they redirect your query to email. For future students coming to Australia, Torrens University offers a new student scholarship which will greatly help any international students coming Australia to complete their study. As I am doing Master degree, all classes were conducted online - so I have never really been to the university area myself. But I have heard reviews that the library is pretty good and has a wide range of books for your assignment. Overall, I would recommend the university to any students coming to Australia.
