History
The Seminary started its first school year in September 1945 in temporary quarters with 61 enrolled. The Nazarene Publishing House generously provided space for administrative offices and a classroom and the management of the denominational headquarters building extended a similar courtesy in providing the Seminary with its main classroom and chapel.

Housing services
NTS wants to serve as a resource in helping future and current students acquire housing. NTS owns a number of properties available to rent to NTS students at a reasonable cost.

Library services
The William Broadhurst Library houses more than 100,000 titles and over 50 periodicals with significant resources in the areas of the Wesleyan doctrine of holiness and on the history of the Church of the Nazarene.
Campus life
The Kansas City metro area sits on the border of Missouri and Kansas and has a population of 2.34 million people. KC is home to many colleges and universities and several notable corporations are headquartered here. It is filled with opportunities to enjoy sports, the arts and a diversity of cultures.
NTS Is located near the Brookside neighborhood, which is currently experiencing a resurgence of development. NTS has also developed partnerships to provide housing and employment opportunities for students.
