The mission of International Baptist College and Seminary, in both its undergraduate and graduate programs is to develop graduates and Christian leaders who glorify and others by living a biblical lifestyle, by obeying the Great Commission, and by championing the fundamentals of the historic Christian faith as they serve God in their families, their local churches, the West, and the world.

International Baptist College (IBC) opened for its first semester on September 8, 1981 with fifteen full-time students. TBC founding pastor, Dr. James Singleton realized that there were very few places to train young men and women for the gospel ministries that would uniquely meet the needs of the West, yet become international in scope and ministry.

International Baptist College and Seminary earned Reaffirmation II Accredited Status as a Category IV institution from the Transnational Association of Christian Colleges and Schools (TRACS) Accreditation Commission on October 27, 2015.
