History
The Southern California Institute of Technology (SCIT) was established in 1987. The first program in this Institute was Electronics/Computer Technology . In January 2013 SCIT moved to its new and current campus.
Education
Our goal is to provide students with an in-depth and engaging learning experience centered on industry relevant and practical curricula. To achieve this, we have developed a unique curricular design whereby each programs curriculum is composed of:
- An accumulative curricular design where course sequences are designed to facilitate a buildup of knowledge
- Accelerated, focused courses where similar courses are grouped and taken together to better help students concentrate on the core topics
- Industry relevant and dense material that is afforded as a result of the accumulative curricular design
- Hands-on, project based coursework that fully utilized our student instructional labs
Career
The Career Services Office provides the following services for recent graduates
- Mock interviews and ongoing interview training
- Resumes and cover letter guidance
- Open door, career guidance policy for our students and alumni
- Interview strategy seminars
- By appointment, open labs for additional training

Student services
The Student Services Office is here to help you with any questions or concerns you have related to your academic and personal goals while studying at SCIT. We offer a range of services and are usually the first place students’ check with when they have questions related to school policies and/or general services.
Library services
SCIT’s library supports the curricular and professional needs of students and faculty by continuously developing, acquiring and maintaining information resources and services. The library houses over 4000 books and reference materials related to the subject matter taught at the school, including business and engineering titles.
ICT services
The Computer Networking Lab (netLab) is a virtual cluster of multiple networking devices, including servers, clients, routers, switch and firewalls. The servers and network devices are Microsoft and Cisco based respectively.
Campus life
SCIT’s campus is located in beautiful Southern California in the city of Anaheim. Our campus boasts an educational facility of over 40,000 square feet with over 20 modern classrooms and 12 advanced instructional labs a library composed of over 4000 reference materials and a digital multimedia library providing a variety of educational media resources. The campus is located next to the Interstate 5 freeway and close to other major highways such as the 57 and 55, making it for an easy commute for those living around Orange County.
