In 2007, the University of Judaism acquired the Brandeis-Bardin Institute, creating a landmark entity, from then on known as American Jewish University. This new organization now boasts two campuses, a single vision and a shared future. Today, American Jewish University is one of the largest and most innovative Jewish institutions in the country.
AJU's academic division includes the College of Arts and Sciences, leading to a B.A. degree in majors such as Biology & Bioethics (pre-med), Business Administration & Innovation, Media Arts, Jewish Studies, Politics & Global Studies, and Psychology. In addition, AJU offers graduate degrees through the Fingerhut School of Education, The David L. Lieber Graduate School, and the Ziegler School of Rabbinic Studies, a Conservative Jewish rabbinical seminary.
The Sigi Ziering Institute of Research : Exploring the Ethical and Religious Implications of the Holocaust is a national center investigating the ethical and religious ramifications of the Shoah for future generations. Dedicated to Jewish life and the Jewish future, the Institute hosts programs, seminars , conferences and public lectures exploring the role of the Holocaust and its relation to legal, medical, business, professional, religious and governmental ethics as well as the role of the Shoah in contemporary Jewish identity.
The University operates a Career Center staffed by a professional career counselor. Career counseling, resume preparation, job search, interview skills development, and graduate school planning are some of the services available to individual students. Workshops on these and other topics will be provided throughout the academic year as well. Full-time jobs, part-time jobs, and internship opportunities are posted on our electronic job board on Sharepoint Job Network.

The Department of Residence Life at American Jewish University seeks to provide a safe, secure and clean living-learning environment that complements the educational mission of the University and contributes to the students' individual and interpersonal growth and development.
The Ostrow Academic Library has a constantly-growing curriculum and research directed collection, containing approximately 284,000 print and e-book titles, 31,000 print and e-journal titles, rich electronic resources, DVDs, CDs, and microfilm.
With free Wi-Fi, 8 public use computers, study rooms, carrels, couches, easy chairs, and large tables, the library is a comfortable place to study, to research a topic of interest, and to enjoy leisure time. All students attending American Jewish University are charged a Student Health Fee. This fee covers the cost of running the Student Health Center on the Familian Campus and the psychological services provided by the University. The health fee is NOT health insurance.
