When you become a part of the BC community, you become part of a history that goes all the way back to 1880. That’s when a 26 year-old decided to start the Spring Creek Normal School and Collegiate Institute. Daniel Christian (D.C.) Flory opened the school on September 6, 1880, with six students, including one woman.
You’ll choose from a variety of academic programs. You’ll challenge yourself and prepare for your future:
At BC, you’ll have unique opportunities for research as an undergraduate. You can perform research projects in partnership with a faculty mentor, either during the semester or the summer. It’s critical preparation for graduate school and a great way to apply what you’ve learned.
You’re taking a big step. Going from high school to college will be one of the most exciting—and challenging--times of your life. You’ll take on more responsibility. Confront new ways of thinking. Explore career options. Look forward to a bright future.
From the day you move into your residence hall, you’ll feel at home. Hanging out with your roommate. Studying with a group of friends. Sharing opinions in late-night debates. There are so many opportunities to grow. Socially. Intellectually. Spiritually.
