History

Founded as Jamestown College in 1883, six years before North Dakota became a state, University of Jamestown has provided students with a quality education grounded in high academic, ethical, and spiritual standards for 130 years.

University of Jamestown offers several on-campus housing options for our students.

Library services

The librarians of the University of Jamestown are responsible for adding materials which will support the curriculum of the undergraduate and graduate programs. Any concerns about the purpose and quality of these materials will be addressed by the librarians and the administration of the University. 

Medical services

Jamestown Regional Medical Center, formally Jamestown Hospital, is a regional medical facility providing inpatient and outpatient services to over 55,000 people in the south central region of North Dakota. Between JRMC, Sanford Health Jamestown and Essentia Health Jamestown, the community is served by 19 local physicians and a variety of visiting specialists.
