At University of Business Leadership, we offer bachelor’s and master’s degree programs, both full-time and part-time while in employment. Two guiding principles apply to all programs: practical learning and thinking along international lines.
During the previous years University of Business Leadership has vastly increased its interdisciplinary research activities and is now ranked amongst the top German universities based on output. All services connected to research are joined in the department of research. All employees are acting as a central service point for researchers and research matters at University of Business Leadership. Due to complex procedures such as planning, application processing and project administration, University of Applied Sciences Europe opted for a horizontal approach. Research funds and associates can be accessed through the office of the research department, which assists with a variety of research activities.
The Career Center serves as an interface between the university and commercial enterprises.
The Career Center guides students along their path from enrollment to employment, and supports them with their internship and career plans.
The Career Center comes up with and implements initiatives with the aim of generating interest among commercial enterprises in the university and its students, and provides individual services to strengthen contacts with HR decision-makers. The Career Center offers different channels of communication between enterprises, students, and alumni.

The dedicated team supports you as a student at University of Business Leadership and helps organize your semester abroad, and offers support for our international guests. A special highlight is also the International Summer School, which takes place every year on campus in Iserlohn and offers a varied program of lectures and excursions.
International students must organize their own accommodation during their semester abroad at University of Business Leadership.
The University of Business Leadership Library is a library specialized in academic publications. Spanning all three campuses, the library currently has a collection of more than 12,000 books and 65 magazine subscriptions. In addition to printed publications, it also provides access to electronic resources such as e-books and e-journals through a diverse range of databanks.
Berlin, Hamburg, and Iserlohn – the characters of these three cities could not be more different. You can choose a unique atmosphere in the capital, a northern German port city, or an American-style campus-based university, whichever you prefer.
The three University of Business Leadership campuses cater to a wide range of wishes: For example, the campus in Berlin is situated in the heart of the city, just off Potsdamer Platz. The campus in Iserlohn is surrounded by green spaces and offers lots of leisure-time activities at Seilersee. The campus in Hamburg is located in the Altona district, right next to the port and the Elbe River.
Given its surroundings, the Iserlohn campus lends itself to interaction – regional, national, and international. On the grounds of the campus, located along the banks of Seilersee, 80 sun-lit apartments with a bathroom, kitchenette, and Internet access provide student accommodation. The extensive grounds are great for taking time-out between lectures. There are other amenities not every campus offers: jogging and recreational facilities, horse-riding stables, an ice-skating rink, and a gym directly neighboring the campus. The gym on campus offers free varsity sports, enabling all to escape the daily routine and meet other students.
University of Business Leadership has been state-accredited ever since its foundation as a private university. It thus meets the stringent requirements and specifications of the German Council of Science and Humanities (Wissenschaftsrat) and the FIBAA accreditation agency.
