The Village at NEOMED, the University’s independently operated on-campus residential apartment community, is only steps away from the main campus.

The University boasts more than 70 student organizations, ranging from student government to honor societies to interest groups to social groups. Service learning is an integral part of both curricular and extra-curricular activities. Student organizations fulfill their annual service requirement by participating in a number of fundraisers and events each year.
Northeast Ohio Medical University is fully accredited by the Higher Learning Commission (HLC). The HLC is one of the six regional agencies that accredit U.S. colleges and universities at the institutional level. In 2013, NEOMED was reaccredited by the Commission for 10 years, the maximum period allowed. The university’s next site visit by a Commission team will be in 2023.
