History
When the cornerstone was laid for Siena Hall on June 20, 1938, Fr. Plassmann announced that the fledgling institution would be known as St. Bernardine of Siena College in honor of the noted fifteenth-century Franciscan preacher and missionary. Siena Hall hosted classrooms and laboratories, faculty and administrative offices, a library, a bookstore, a cafeteria and a chapel.

Great experience
It has been a great experience attending this community college. Nice campus and lots of resources. I have never had an issue with any professors, they are all competent and fair. They have good safety measures and take the safety of their students and staff very seriously.
Adirondack scenic guidance
Great institute for education. Part of the suny community and the adirondacks are beautiful. The advisors are great at helping you pick you classes and helping you on your career path. The student body ranges greatly in all ages making it welcome in all age ranges so you don't feel out of place.
Strong Academics And Social Cliques
The school has great academics for Business, Psychology, and Social Work. The food could be better as well as having more options available. Housing is bad for underclassman but can be better when you are an upperclassman. The school is clique and can feel like high school at times.
Student services
The Office of the Dean of Students serves as a central campus resource to assist students in the management of issues or concerns, and aid in the achievement of personal and academic success.
Housing services
The convenience of living on campus provides students swift access to numerous campus resources such as the library, computer labs, dining hall and other campus eateries, health services, athletic and recreational facilities, and late night events. Additionally, students have the opportunity to participate in a variety of campus-wide and residence hall programs.
Library services
The Library provides resources and services in support of the curricular and research needs of students and faculty. The Library’s collections reflect the academic programs offered as well as a commitment to the liberal arts tradition. The Library also creates a supportive environment for the research and teaching activities of the faculty.
Medical services
With nearly 12,500 employees in more than 165 locations, St. Peter's Health Partners provide high-quality, compassionate care to thousands of people every day across the greater Capital Region.
