Rose-Hulman welcomes students from around the world. The presence of international students on our campus helps us to realize the breadth and depth of differences in the world. Through interaction with different people, not only do we learn about different ways of living, but we also learn more about ourselves. Engineers and scientists of the future need cross-cultural competencies--skills that will enable them to work and live productively in a variety of settings.
At Rose-Hulman, all freshmen are required to live on campus, but many of our upperclassmen choose to stay in the residence halls as well.
Why live on campus? It’s incredibly easy to access campus resources such as the library, classrooms, food services and athletic facilities. As a member of the Rose-Hulman community, you’ll be surrounded by students taking the same classes as you, and as a result, are likely facing many of the same challenges.
