Small Population, Close Community

Small school size, benefits of a close campus and very walkable with many amenities. Departments are generally very small and can be limited by their expertise. Very benefiting to making close connections with advisors, small class sizes. Never had much difficulty getting the classes I wanted. Many opportunities to work and research. Options to work on campus in many fields and conduct research with campus support.

Student services

Student Activities at Berry is more than just social events, club meetings and building one’s resume. The University strive to provide opportunities for you to become an active member of this community.

Housing services

The staff are excited that Berry will become your home for the next four years. As a four-year residential community, it is believed that the learning that takes place outside of the classroom is a complement to the lessons learned within the classroom.

The goal in Residence Life is to provide opportunities to explore: personal development, inter/intra-personal competence, as well as social and civic responsibility.

Medical services

The Health and Wellness Center promotes optimal wellness in students by modifying or removing health-related barriers to learning, enabling individuals to make informed decisions about health-related concerns and empowering students to be self-directed consumers of health-care services.

Campus life

The Berry College Police Department is charged with the responsibilities of providing life safety and property protection. To meet these important responsibilities, the college maintains a force of state certified police officers whose duties are integrated to provide law enforcement, crime prevention and parking control/enforcement.

Sports facilities

The fitness center will be available to Berry College employees, students, and family members living on-campus.The Cage Athletic and Recreation Center is a focal point of student activity on Berry’s 27,000-acre campus. The 131,000-square-foot facility houses a performance arena that seats nearly 2,000 for varsity athletics, a natatorium with observation seating, an expansive fitness center, racquetball courts and an indoor walk/jog track among its many amenities.

Student clubs

What does it mean to “get involved” in campus life? This may mean more than you think, and the answer is as unique as the individual! At Berry, we offer many avenues for involvement, including:

  • More than 75 student organizations
  • Academic Honoraries
  • Athletics
