Established in 2002, this innovative higher education project has been conceived, crafted and implemented by Dr. Mansoor Al Awar, HBMSU Chancellor, as a passionate response to the hopes and aspirations of the new Arab generation, with a focus on smart learning as the future of education and empowerment in the region.
Hamdan Bin Mohammed Smart University’s Lifelong Learning Model is designed to provide many forms and opportunities of education and learning experiences that combine both academic and non-academic programs and courses.
By focusing on the importance of the learner’s ‘lifelong learning needs’, HBMSU offers all of its professional programs through certification routes to progress through a career path in multiple sectors including quality and business management, banking, healthcare, environment, smart learning, and e-education.

In my opinion, Syrian Virtual University is a very good university all in all. It's cheap, require low GPA in general, and the best of its qualities is that you can choose what hour you want your lecture to be as there are very flexible days and times mostly. But, lately, Its performance is declining due to changing the previous CEO, and we are having a lot of technical issues such as: Prices are glitching and being set at a diabolical number. Subjects we passed are appearing as a new subject and/or failed, and vice versa. But, it is a good enough University and i love it and lov studying in it, especially with the great professors.
I am currently completing my studies in Nursing Science, where I have gained strong theoretical knowledge and practical skills in healthcare. During my studies, I learned about patient care, health promotion, disease prevention, and teamwork in medical environments. My academic experience has strengthened my interest in public health and health system management, and it motivated me to continue my studies at the master’s level in order to contribute to improving healthcare services in my country.
During my studies in Graphic Advertising (Image Design), I particularly enjoyed the creative freedom to explore design concepts and the strong emphasis on mastering professional tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign. The internships I completed were especially valuable, as they allowed me to apply my knowledge in real projects, collaborate with teams, and understand client needs. What I think could be improved is the integration of more international design perspectives and advanced digital design workshops to prepare even better for the global market. Overall, my study experience was highly rewarding, giving me both solid technical expertise and the confidence to express creativity in professional settings. It was a journey that shaped not only my skills but also my vision as a designer.
