About

Education

We offer degrees in four pillars (core areas of specialisation), which are developed to offer a modern engineering and architecture education that crosses traditional disciplines.

Research

We view the domain of technology and design as an emerging force rather than an established practice. These fields offer enormous intellectual, economic and social opportunities as well as an unrivalled edge to impact and lead in Singapore, the region and beyond.

Career

Career Development Centre is the bridge between our students and potential employers and alumni. We believe in the importance of early career preparation through career workshops and internships.

Services

Student services

The Student Government serves you and upholds your interests. Our members act as welfare custodians, bringing students, staff and faculty together through effective communication.

We are the catalyst for Student Initiatives, encouraging spontaneity and breaking convention. We also work hand-in-hand with all the student clubs to promote the growth of the students as well as the development of their ideas and passion.

Housing services

SUTD's staff and student housing blocks are conveniently located on the SUTD campus, just a stone's throw away from the academic blocks and sports facilities.

Library services

The SUTD Library is an open access technology and design library.  Its unique design supports our pedagogy and offers a truly sensory experience from discovery through serendipity to a touch and feel with spaces to read, research and reflect.

ICT services

The Information Systems Lab is used to conduct most of the programming modules and has a section dedicated to the Internet of Things (IoT). It is designed in such a way that the space would be suitable for cohort lectures too.

Medical services

The Wellbeing Services provide the following services to the SUTD community:

  • self-help psycho-educational resources for students;
  • talks, workshops and training for the University community to promote the development of personal growth, life skills and mental health and wellbeing; and
  • support to critical incidents involving students who may need immediate psychological or medical care.

Student Life

Campus life

There is more to life at SUTD than studying. Make the best of a campus designed and built to encourage interaction and collaboration. Stay on campus and be part of a community of fellow students, staff and faculty.

  • One of these platforms is the support and guidance we provide to all the SUTD Clubs and Interest Groups. There are over 90 student groups on campus, ranging from the arts, sports and special interests.
