Students develop design-led problem-solving skills through Innovation by Design and Design Science, while building strong technical expertise in information, network, systems, software, and cyber-physical systems security.

Practical capabilities are reinforced through hands-on experience with industry-standard security tools and real-world scenarios. Have access to world-class testbeds including Secure Water Treatment (SWaT) testbed, Water Distribution (WADI) testbed, Electric Power and Intelligent Control (EPIC) testbed, Research in Security Innovation Lab for Internet of Things (RESILIOT) testbed, and Maritime OT (MariOT) testbed, as well as a wide range of cyber twins (i.e., virtual environment for OT cybersecurity exercises). Together, the Technology and Design (Cybersecurity) programme at Singapore University of Technology and Design equips graduates to design, develop, and secure innovative systems and products for today’s complex digital environments.

General requirements

A bachelor’s degree in technology, including degrees in Engineering, Computing and Applied Sciences, OR in other related disciplines with two years of ICT industry experience;
Proficiency in at least one of the following programming languages: Java, C/C++ or Python (or other modern programming languages);
Students whose language of instruction during undergraduate study is not English are required to present TOEFL-iBT (min. 85) or IELTS (min. 6.0) score report;
Interested candidates with undergraduate degrees in an unrelated discipline may be considered on a case-by-case basis;
