PFH Private University of Applied Sciences

PFH Private University of Applied Sciences was recognised by the Lower Saxony Ministry of Science and Culture in 1995, which means that it is Lower Saxony's oldest private, state-recognised university.

As a university run on entrepreneurial lines, the training of entrepreneurial new blood is an essential cornerstone of the PFH's orientation. The activities pertaining to this topic area are concentrated in the ZE Zentrum für Entrepreneurship (Centre for Entrepreneurship). Imparting entrepreneurship content or an ability to act entrepreneurially as a key qualification cuts across all the PFH's departments.

Through its research institutes and activities, PFH is building up expert knowledge, thereby raising its profile not only in teaching, but also in science. Numerous projects, publications, conferences, and talks by professors and their research assistants take place throughout the year. The continuing expansion of these research activities is at the very top of the agenda of University development.

If you decide on a study programme at PFH, you are making the right choice for your professional future. Our graduates are particularly sought after by employers on account of the practical nature of the study programme: over 99 percent start their first job immediately after completing their studies, as they are optimally prepared for the world of work and can therefore assume responsibility quickly.

Student Reviews

my lovely university
Anonymous rated 4 out of 5 stars

My experience so far is one of pride that I have been able to be a part of my university. The university is a great place to study . The remote experience has been great, despite the lack of workshops. The feedback has always been received in time, the support of the staff has been fast and efficient. I just can't describe how friendly everyone is here, and how amazing all...

It was nice
